Information For Readers

The Journal of Black Behavior Analysis (JOBBA) is an open access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research and practice that centers the lived experiences and liberation of Black communities across the diaspora. Grounded in the principles of behavior analysis, the journal invites work that challenges traditional frameworks and uplifts culturally sustaining, community-based, and socially transformative approaches to science and practice.

JOBBA provides a platform for researchers, practitioners, and community scholars to explore intersections of behavior, culture, identity, and justice with an emphasis on applied, conceptual, and theoretical contributions that expand what behavior analysis can be.

Our aim is to nurture a global community of scholars committed to dismantling oppressive systems through scientific rigor, cultural humility, and creative praxis. JOBBA is published by The Black Association of Behavior Analysts, a nonprofit organization dedicated to centering all intersections of the Black experience by cultivating community through the promotion, education, and empowerment of our people utilizing the science of behavior analysis.
